I've given this a good deal of thought, and I can't trace any reason, or recall any imprint event or media for enjoying this fetish. I do recall being already interested in female classmates' necks when I was 5 years old, and around the same time being fascinated with a cartoon picture book where an octopus had wrapped one of its tentacles around a woman diver's neck. So, this has predated my actual sexuality by quite a bit - early enough in my life that I can only say that I just must have been "born this way."

What is your main fetish?: Strangulation murders that ultimately grant open sexual access to desirable females whom would otherwise remain unattainable. Brutally using said women until neither their defiled corpses nor the killer's sexual stamina can withstand another assault. Disposing of the once lovely victims in a cruel manner wherein their bodies are never again found. A shallow graves, tub of acid...

I personally do believe there's an innate biological factor as to why we enjoy female death as much as we do. Yes, even real death for some. I know boards like this want to dance around that angle, but all it takes is going to any board that supports this fetish and you will know the PLENTY of fans of this material enjoy real death as well. When sites like DFN allowed real death, it was everywhere. Nowadays it's not allowed for obvious reasons; its presence understandably makes the fetish look very bad. However, out of sight, out of mind doesn't mean there aren't plenty of fans that associate the two. No, it doesn't mean those types of individuals are serial killers, or bad people, they just have a morbid, sometimes erotic, fascination with death. Go visit one of the most popular sites in the world like Reddit; while almost anything legal is allowed to be posted there, erotic-horror is generally attacked if posted. Yet there are several real death subs like /morbidreality or /watchpeopledie that are widely accepted. Go figure.

As previously stated, we are animals. Certainly a higher form, but animals nevertheless. There are certain biological instincts still present in our DNA that are undoubtedly triggered by certain events. That doesn't mean every person that loves erotic-horror does so because of some innate, biological, or predestined factor. However, I'm certain many of us are triggered by some primal instinct left over from countless centuries past. Men were hunters and the hunters often preyed on the weakest. Women were undoubtedly among the easiest of prey. It has been occurring like that for countless millennium. Add in the sexual factor to the equation and there you have an even stronger desire. There's no doubting in my mind that many of us are drawing upon some instinctual habit when we are first triggered by these instincts. That may also explain why many women often desire to be a victim. Submit and allow the hunter to have you, and you may possibly survive the encounter.

For myself, there were quite a few instances of seeing women go limp in death that I remember enjoying at a very early age. However, I didn't really know I had a passion for this type of behavior until I viewed scenes such as the acid being poured onto the dead female victim in the Point Of No Return (seeing her dead legs jerk around....so hot) or the strangle in a Kiss Before Dying, that I knew I just loved seeing a woman suffer.

Yes, there were initial feelings of guilt when I become aroused by such scenes, but truth be told, if you break it down even further, it's less about women and more about power, or the hunter mentality. Which again brings us back full circle to those long dormant instincts. Many of which are recognized and placated my millions of sport hunters across the world every day. While their instincts are likely due more to the survival, it's largely the same motivating factors that drive us both.

As for the sexual factor, it simply brought the motivations and the stories that were often very expensive to purchase into focus. There's also another huge fetish among males and it is the sexual assault fetish. While it was brilliant to attempt to marry those two fetishes together, the producers of the erotic-horror fetish have never done a very good job at portraying that aspect or drawing in those types of fans. However, that is largely due to a lack of intensity, pacing, acting and production values. Which has really declined over the last couple of years, imo. I'm guessing ambitions for creating this product aren't what they once were for many reasons. However, that's a discussion for another day.
