Darkwing takes on the deadly beauty known as DeadKill, but when DeadKill attacks, Stephanie Kane a.k.a. Darkwing is out of costume and doesn't have access to the weapons in her utility belt. She therefore has to survive that battle against her armed opponent with only her wits and fighting ability to save her. Alas, it is not enough. Darkwing is defeated!
There are two versions. In the Extreme version Stephanie is killed by strangulation and neck snap, and in the Peril version she is strangled into unconsciousness and captured!
