Petra and Suzi's Farewell Tour!

Hey All,

Well, I managed to put together one final Petra-Suzi shoot, but it will probably be the last, unless there are sufficient custom orders in order to convince me to continue these shoots. When I first brought Petra over and demonstrated that she was even more awesome with Bluestone scripts and costuming there were sufficient custom requests to cover some of the costs of bringing her over. Those customs have fallen off, and all I seem to get now are pleas to do customs for a few hundred dollars. Well, that may get you a custom from other producers, but it won't get you one starring Petra or Suzi who are both Bluestone exclusive actresses.

So as not to waste your time or mine, I am now accepting custom requests for Petra and Suzi's Farewell Tour, and here are the minimums:

1. US$1,000 minimum paid in advance for a custom with either actress alone;
2. US$1,500 minimum paid in advance for a custom with both Suzi and Petra;
3. There will be no other actresses attending this shoot;
4. These prices are for a basic scenario and more complex ones, if accepted, will cost more;
5. The location will be our usual hotel suite; and,
6. As usual, Bluestone retains the copyright after the video is delivered to the customer.

So, save up your shekels, partner with others, and don't wait until the last minute to secure your custom video, because this will be your last opportunity to get that very special video with the two top actresses in the business.

Cool! Paying back my loans, I sorta don't think I'm going to be able to do a custom, but we'll see. I will be buying the vids when released though.

Let me clarify. If you want to place a custom order, feel free to do so. If you don't want to place an order, don't tell me my charges are too high. They are what they are and they are not being reduced because some people think they're too high. No pressure. If you think they're too high, simply don't order a custom.

My goodness, what's so hard about that?

Yeah, I saw that and thought the response was too harsh. Yes, it's high. I personally think too high myself. But I also understand that part of the money from a shoot will probably be going to help out the other shoots since you have them for 5 days, and it also covers Petra's travel fees. I don't think it's wrong to say if one thinks your rate is too high, but the response over there was just like, "You guys do understand what all these extra charges are going for, right? Calm the fuck down. If you can't afford it, that's fine. If you feel bad you can't afford it, then let Blue know in a respectful manner. But don't act like its the end of the world, for Christ's sake!"

Actually I will have Petra for 6 days and Suzi for 4 with a two day overlap. So, an 8 day shoot.

I really shouldn't have bothered posting over there, because they are an unruly group at times. I mean insulting the worth of my cast and saying that other producers have prettier girls is really rude and uncalled for. Well, I gave them fair warning, so I've now pulled my ad over there and I'll only be posting Petra-Suzi shoot news on FF from now on. You know what that old saying says about casting pearls before swine.

Well... I havent been able to read the original posts from Blue, but all one can say is that I am someone who has been on the receiving of his kindness not once but twice.

I won a video in one of the competitions on his board and he sent the one I chose (Widowmaker) within a few hours. When i saw the stills to another one I loved (Pandoras Final Conflict) and emailed him saying how I would love to have that one too, it was also sent without me having to pay for it!

The last thing anyone can call him is greedy....

Oh and the production quality was top notch to say the least...

Obviously, the man wants to provide us with the best talent and it costs money. If there are people out there who want him to create videos at a loss, do it yourselves and don't burden a great producer.

There are some rude posters over there, but you and others have reminded me that there are also some really nice members over at DS, and I thank you for your support and the support of the others who posted respectfully over there both before and after I removed my ad. Here I thought I was doing all Petra and Suzi fans a favour by alerting them to the fact that customs may only be available for one more shoot (a shoot that almost didn't happen), and I get torn to shreds along with Petra and Suzi being trashed.

I just told one of my regular custom customers how I really feel. I am only going to sell a few customs for this shoot anyway. The rest of the time, I'm going to film my own material with my two favourite actresses... because I know their true value and they are every bit worth what I pay them to perform these videos for our community... and in the final analysis each and every poster on DS (and FF) can purchase one of these videos for much less than $1,000 when they are edited and released. Of course, maybe they're going to complain that $15.00 to too pricey too!

Thanks, Mkkb, but they did piss me off. So, I am closing this offer and not accepting any new requests for Petra or Suzi videos after this Friday. This thread was supposed to be a celebration of a shoot that I thought would never happen for various reasons including Petra's recent critical condition. I wanted to let others in on this last chance to get their fantasies on film, but I'm now sorry that I even posted that offer. I will shoot one final time with Suzi and Petra. I will enjoy it. I will film what I want to film and edit and release them when I feel moved to do so. The few lucky custom customers will, as usual, get their videos edited first, and they will be awesome! Then, it will be over. There will be never before seen footage for years, but no opportunity to obtain that very special custom video. You can't say that I didn't give everyone fair warning though. That DS thread has had 2,188 views so far. So, I'm quite satisfied that I've given everyone fair warning of the close of a unique opportunity.

I'll be closing this thread along with the offer on Friday.

Well, the above offer was simply based upon the following:

In order to make it worthwhile for Petra and Suzi to travel their respective distances, I had to go for an 8 day shoot or no shoot at all. The total cost will be a little over $20,000. A custom usually takes about a half day to shoot because we have to make sure that we cover all customer requirements, which is $1,250 on average. Thus, the $1,000 figure for one actress and the $1,500 figure for 2 actresses. It seemed reasonable to me that customers would cover their portion of the shoot, because I am covering the balance and making it happen. Obviously, very few people agree with my analysis and somehow spending twenty grand to bring two very popular actresses back for a return engagement was considered being greedy and a chastisement of the community members. Go figure. Anyway, I made the offer, so I will still honour it, but Friday can't arrive too soon for me now. I can't wait to close off this offer and lock this thread. It seems obvious that I may get one or two customs, and that will be it. So, I will concentrate on making them the best damned customs possible. Then, there will be no more such public offerings. I don't need to put out thousands of dollars in order to get the type of abuse that I got on DS, when my buddy Geno will give it to me for free. Here's counting the hours to Friday.

So, that's my position on my public offering. As for anyone such as MikeDark who wish to speak to me about having some input into aspects of this shoot, feel free to email me. Mike, your idea of an exit interview interrupted with Petra has merit, and I may just do it for you for free. I've always supported those who support me, and I intend to continue to do so. I am also always open to ideas and constructive feedback from all community members. Also, anyone who has ever ordered a custom from me before is not restricted by the Friday deadline, but I will not be taking on new customers for the Petra-Suzi shoot after that date.

Blue--I did my own estimate to your shoot in a response posting on another forum (which I later erased) and came up with $17,500. I can't believe how close I was. I think I was off because I was thinking 5-6 days and did not consider travel days.
