The Silk Video site is almost impenetrable!

This is just another job to postpone for later when there is free time, but buying a video here is really difficult! No, I'm not referring to the payment issue---that is explained clearly. My issue is still the disorganization of the huge list of vids for sale. Nobody can know what series a particular vid is from. Finding a specific vid is HARD unless you already know the exact title---and already know the plot theme that is in it. It IS possible to search by actress, but NOT by method of demise, AND the brief vid descriptions do NOT even detail that. Usually viewing anything but the most recent production descriptions gives no clue as to what is in the vid. The descriptions need to be MUCH more detailed---why scrimp on bandwidth? At LEAST add some keywords to give a clue what the action is in each vid that the search function can recognise.

For example, I wanted to search for Petra hangings. I got a list of Petra's vids, but NONE of them described the method of demise, and the image gave no clue. I searched for "hanging" and got NONE FOUND. Still wondering why hangings sell poorly?

So, later, when there is some free time, the video sale site needs some serious reorganization and better search results. Assuming that the goal is to actually SELL these wonderful vids?.............elsullo

Frustratingly, as good as your suggestions are, they aren't likely to ever happen.

I e-mailed Blue a year or so ago about similar concerns. He told me that the ad copies on his web site are purposefully vague in an effort to keep unwanted visitors (read "the morality police") from trying to shut him down. He added that, if someone is genuinely interested in learning more about a video with the intent of buying a copy for their own pleasure, they can come here.

I konw what you mean. At least there are far more details on Blue's (and other producers) video's on this Forum so you can determine exactly what is in them & if contains anything of direct interest

I understand your concerns, but to keep in business at all, I need to keep a low profile in some areas, such as the public store site. Not just this forum, but the FF Private Members Site that hosts my promotional Silk Videos site is where to go to get all of the details on my videos. All the details are there. I am working on a search function for that site, but haven't been able to find a suitable program yet. Any suggestions for a program that will search the words in a site like a mini-google? I have 2 hanging videos only. If they don't sell when they're first released, they probably will never sell a lot, especially because they are on Nicheclips too.

I agree with Blue. I'm looking at making videos soon and I know one thing for certain, no one will want to even try to understand our fetishes. Any form of female demise would be looked upon grimly by the larger public and you are likely to get an over-zealous cop, like in Dr Don's case. I really appreciate the effort and risks the filmakers here put in. I have seen the often unfavourable reactions from people who stumble upon this stuff, so my partner and I keep our fetish hidden. Shame really, it's no different to any so called mainstream erotica, maybe it just has to be gotten out there somehow.
