Encoding issues, and DvD's..

Post by Chris B »

Hello everyone, fans, customers, and anyone who has purchased my video clips in the last year. First I want you to know that I appreciate every single sale, and everyone counts when it comes to being able to make it to do films another month.

I have had a couple of complaints about some pix elation, as well as my customers not being able to take the films and burn them to DVD to watch on the big screen. I truly apologize and want to do what I can to make it up to you.

First: From now on all encoding will be done with an onboard compressor for Mac, that works with my Flip4mac pro and quicktime converter to get you the best quality wmv, with a smaller file size, no pix elation, and the ability to take your wmv and convert it to a quality DVD for you to enjoy on the big screen.

Second: Whoever has purchased any of my films that will not convert to DVD, and are interested in being shipped a hard copy, please email me your claim to: chrisbrown.corner@gmail.com and I will get the copies to you as soon as I can. I do have records of all sales back a few years, so I will have you in the system if you have indeed paid for the download. I will be happy to ship you the DVD's to a mailing address of your choice, with a delivery confirmation.

Please note that it may take a little time if there is an influx of inquiries, but I have dedicated a few hours a week and some help to take care of it. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Also, if you do not like downloads, and wish to have a DVD copy of any movies that I have made(That are within my copywrite)that you wish to purchase, please hit me up at the same email address, and I will make sure you get them.

Thanks again for everyone and such great customers and fans. we love you! chris

This is really good Chris, In my interaction with producers in the past, few of them would take the time or make the offer you have. That said, I have had little interaction ( or complaints) with producers who advertise here, but in the mainstream , I have had VHS videos that never played right, tracking was so far off, my machine couldn't correct it ( I owned a top of the line VHS machine at the time) Got a DVD with only 45 seconds of material on it, got one that had the wrong title (movie) on it, and got a download link for a paid video Download that gave me an entirely different title ( not even the same producer)
In all cases it was like pulling teeth to get things corrected.
So it's nice to have someone come right out and offer to correct problems up front.
