What was the first video that you saw from a necro producer?

And "Play Dead" has a couple of the sexiest shootings going...! The corseted gal (can't remember her name) that gets shot right after Debbie did the most fantastic, agonized acting job! The corsets have been a signature look for G-Man since the beginning! I love 'em too!

woman (busty dark-haired babe) dressed in a bone white one-piece cling body-shaper and shot up against a wall.
However, the VHS tape for that one... (and was my very first paid custom) now long lost.
Also ( to ramble on a bit ) the only thing a bit annoying about the video...
was that Shelby (DF's Owner/Producer) picked a spot in the room where there was a window to the left of the
shot with light coming in which turned into the overall lighting for the shot a bit problematic.
Anyway... I paid $300 for the 8 to 10 minute video (well worth it ) if anyone was wondering.

G-Man...! The actress in this was "Jennifer," as I remember it. And it was my very first purchase through what was then called "B-Movie.Com." I was orgasmic over it. This was the film that completely changed my fetish world back in its day. I did a lift from the VHS a long time ago, and include that film in an honored place in one of my Tommygun Collection dvds/mp4 files. I never knew that you were the inspiration and financing of that one.

As for Shelby, loved him. But everything was so primitive back in those days, you just had to give him and the few other producers credit for what they was doing.

I actually visited him at his studio in Las Vegas during the summer of 2000 as well as McQuade.
He was interesting to talk to... he was very keen on showing me (new at the time) that all of his computers were
equipped with removable/plug-in hard drives. I was also surprised how short (about 5'5") he was...
for in his videos he looked a lot taller.

Ah, Perforations. Those were the first two custom videos I ever commissioned. I wrote the scripts, paid for the productions, and Gary did an amazing job of putting it all on "film". He even sent me small royalty checks for quite a few years afterward!

Just saw this - Holy Guacamole! Sir, I and this whole community owe you a debt of gratitude. The "cheerleader" scene alone is worth the price of admission, and is a scene that I have had a minor obsession with all these years. As such, I would love to learn anything and everything that I can (I asked Gary once but his recollection of these specifics was minimal).

Can you share anything with us about the production of this scene and how your expectations were met? A few areas in particular:
- inspiration for the scene... is this victim intended to be a cheerleader and/or have that look?
- Did you get to choose this actress for the role or just get lucky (for she is perfect)?
- As a lover of chest hits to slender victims with smaller breasts, I just love the hit pattern... did your script provide the detailed hit sequencing we see? Do you know why an evident gunshot wound to the victim's right breast was not used? (Seems to be there in later make up but not the action).
- How did the special effects get selected, and were you pleased with the results? I see mostly the "filament" method of pull-away wound covers, but there is also the much-fancier blood tube for the heart wound.
- reasons for victim remaining nearly quiet as she is repeatedly shot (I like this actually)
- regrettably the victim kept her bra on throughout (even into the autopsy!). I assume this was an actress limitation?
- Anything else you can add to help with my obsession?!?

Can you share anything with us about the production of this scene and how your expectations were met? A few areas in particular:

That was a long time ago, and my memory is hazy. I wish I still had a copy of my script, but it's long gone. Anyway, I will do my best to answer your questions.

I'm pleased and sort of surprised that scene was particularly memorable. It was well done, but it wasn't my personal favorite scene of the movie.

I wrote that particular scene as a generic inmate/victim. Gary chose the model and picked out the costume from some clothing I sent him. She was not written to be a cheerleader - that was purely coincidental.

I don't recall specifying the specific gunshot locations, although Cal and Bull might have mentioned something in their dialogue.

I think I suggested the fishing line bullet hit effect and Gary did an excellent job pulling it off.

I'm not sure why the girl remained quiet while she was repeatedly shot. I would have to go back and re-watch that scene to jog my memory. It was probably director's choice.

I suspect she kept her bra on out of modesty. I probably just scripted something like: "She is undressed for the autopsy".

The only other thing I specifically remember is that I sent Gary some of the fake guns he used in the production. I think there was an air gun and a couple of replicas.

He did send me some still photos he took during the shoot. I actually found them on my hard drive and I've uploaded them here, in case anybody is interested.
