The plot of this film was designed around my recent RL surgery and the scar that resulted from it.
I am a hit woman who is in a shootout with a couple of assassins. I hit the woman but spend just a bit too much time gloating over her demise.
I turn to take care of the man but he hits me first, right in the solar plexus. I am stunned but I fire back out of reflex. My second shot finds him. I watch him fall as I grab my wound.
I can't even breathe...I am choking on my own blood...losing focus....I fall...
and then the phone rings. The shootout was a dream this time, but it really happened a few months earlier and I am at home recovering.
I rip open my robe to examine the wound. No, all is well. This time it really was just a dream.
