How do headshots happen in real life?

This question have got me itching my head for ages. I've watched a lot of execution & IRL gore videos to see how they happen. When a person gets shot in the head they always immediately drop down dead in less than a second. No reaction, no standing for a few seconds. Sometimes they drop so fast that you can't even see they're down. It's happening so fast.

So why do they always portray headshots like, you know... Stand up for a few seconds, make weird facial expressions etc. How did all of that started? Why don't do they do it like how it is happening in real life? Or sometimes, does it happen in real life how it is in movies too?

Well, hopefully no one here is knowledgeable in "real life", because that's not what this forum is about, but I can answer why community producers have the female victim react before dropping out of frame. It's simply so that we get a look at the beautiful victim's reaction which is what this forum is all about. If the victim dropped out of screen immediately, what's so sexy about that. Might as well shoot her in pitch blackness if that's all we're going to see.

Here, for example, is Petra's twitching before dying rather quickly, which is of course all captured on screen from "Dream Sequences: Director's Cut"!

Ananbaban, I find it more than a little disturbing that you seem to be seeking out and watching actual material about people being killed "in real life" or perhaps I should say in "Real Death".

Nothing on this forum is in any way concerned with REAL death, and indeed anything like that is banned from the forum.

Everything you see here is play-acting and theatre. Which is why, in most cases, the play-acting does not reflect reality.

If you can't see that, perhaps you have joined the wrong group.

Here you go, Ananbaban, this should answer your questions in purely biological terms of what happens with a headshot, and how they can be survived....

BTW if this is medical or human curiosity, then that is fair enough. But let us stick to how a headshot is depicted in TV programmes or movies, fiction & make-up & make-up (some very good, I grant you), or also artwork

Headshots are quick and deaths from them are almost always instant, as soon as the bullet goes through the body drops like a brick and usually in a *Very* awkward way (Losing all bodily function at once is a b***ch :? ). I was in the military and seen countless videos of it happening as well, everyone has their own kinks but seeing that happen definitely isn't one of mine
