Does anyone know this movie?

It was released sometime in the early to mid 90's. I was quite young at the the time just remember this attractive looking girl.
There was this evil monster or vampire with this pretty nice looking assistant girl.
She was supposed to help him kill or seduce the hero but she helps him escape instead.
He ends up and beating her for this. I think he kicks her in the stomach / slaps her if I recall correctly.
Later on in the movie I she manages to kill him by sacrificing herself and impaling both herself and the evil character through a stake or something.
