Just read this. You brought her back, Paul. My prayers are with you and her. God speed.

Thanks for all the prayers. After 3 weeks she is far better than she started out. She is able to eat now along with getting food from a tube. Hoping the tube feed comes out soon. They just want to make sure she gets enough calories to keep healing. They did extensive work on both legs and she can't put weight on either of them for at least 6 weeks. She has an external fixature on the left leg. Will require surgery when they go to remove it. Now she is getting sent to a rehab hospital where she will probably be for 2 weeks. Thought she was coming home today. Hoping she comes home soon. :(

Well at least she is improving consistently over the course of care & treatment, knifeinhand, that is the m ost important thing.
Yes, you want her home, but she is obviously getting the right degree and standard of carew here she is (unlike our own NHS!) so hopefully they will release her soon - when she does 'come home', will she still be a day patient at the hospital/care centre?

That I don't know. They don't seem to tell you anything much before it actually happens. Then some times that information is wrong. So just taking it as it comes at this point. I'm just glad the worst is over.
