Where do you get your death fetish fix?

Post by Bluestone »

Hey All,

Times have certainly changed incredibly since I found this community at a time when death fetish movies were still being marketed on VHS tapes. (Remember those... or not) :lol2:

Back then, the majority of our type of material consisted of clips from mainstream movies and TV shows.

Then, the market exploded, and the popularity of digital media and high speed Internet helped to feed this market. Suddenly, there were tons of community producers, and lots and lots of material for our community to enjoy.

Recently, you may have seen many such producers disappear from the marketplace. Did the market get saturated? Are former customers getting their death fetish fix elsewhere, such as in on-line gaming or other sources? Have your personal purchasing habits changed?

These and other questions are, I'm sure, being asked of many of our community producers. So, please share your thoughts on the subject. What do you want to see more of in the way of your fetish fix? What are you no longer interested in purchasing? What do you want to see as the future of our community?

Inquiring minds want to know!

The market is far from saturated because I don't see anything of interest to me anymore. The last good fantasy death fetish video I bought was Dead Professionals by Chris' Corner, in February. It's one of my go-to videos when I'm aroused. Ryanne and Lexxi were fantastic.

These days, I get my fix from death fetish videos I bought years ago, mainstream sources, my 3D art, and my collection of regular adult content.

My biggest turn-on: Professional women in peril. They make up the bulk of my regular adult content with nearly 73,000 bondage-related photos and videos.

My dream store would be one that specifically and exclusively features asphyxiated professional women. The only producer who's ever come closest is Eyewitness Productions, but I lost interest in them years ago because I was tired of their poor site management and lack of creativity. It's because of them that I hate floor stranglings. My collection of their material includes nearly 66,000 photos and 15 videos.

I'm 45. The older I get and the less I see, the more convinced I become that I'm going to have to fill what I believe is a rather sizeable hole in the community. Sadly, that may never happen...

Time certainly have changed...and I think for the better. It really is amazing how, for a lack of a better word, popular our thing has become over the years. Overall, I think it's for the best. Saturated? Yeah, I think so, and I think that's a good thing, at least as a consumer, and perhaps for the more passionate producer. Yes, there is a lot of sub-par work out here, at least for my tastes. I have been burnt once or twice by a new producer for a film that looked far better than it was...And at that point, I learned my lesson. My habits have changed a bit, but overall over the years I tend to stick with the tried and true producers (Blue being one of them :) though I would love to see a bit for rag dolling)...I would think an influx of new producers could benefit existing producers just by seeing what works, and what doesn't with the top selling clips. It must be very tough as a producer fighting for the same sale to a limited customer base, especially with expanding producers. I recall the old Necrobabe days when you would wait days for a new photo-story release, and you couldn't wait. Now, each day, I am still pleasantly surprised by the amount of materiel to choose from. Yes, much of it isn't the best, and I believe will fall to the wayside, but I still love the options.
Nightfall and I have very similar tastes. The professional, office attire, has always been a weakness. I will show my hand, I pretty much can guarantee, multigirl, office woman, disheveled clothed film, and I am in. EWP had the look of the models down well, but I agree, never really expanded past the same old.

For me, my purchasing habit are about the same. Sexy death stares, flopping around and a bit of limp play, and convincing acting, and I am usually in. It's all about the passion of the product. There are plenty of woman walks into room, choked, unconvincingly falls on bed, rolled over, end, films out there. As long as the end result is quality, I'll be there....

We have come a long way from the mid 90's and I loved it then, and love it now.

Thanks for all the effort Blue!!

I actually share the same "professional woman" fetish, Nyghtfall, and I have found it hard to fill in the offerings from our community producers. One aspect of that is my desire to see death fetish scenarios enacted with some really sharp professional fashions. I'm an office-based executive myself in real life, and my closet is full of high quality blouses, skirts, shoes, various styles of glasses, classy and restrained jewelry accessories...your own fashion sense is impeccable, and how I wish I could see style like that appear more often in fetish filmmaking. But I understand (from experience) that a sharp professional wardrobe is expensive, which may make it prohibitive for our community producers. At least we have your artistic renders, Nyghtfall!

To go to other aspects of your question, Blue, the community has always been somewhat diversified in the medium they choose for their death fetish thrill. Stories, artwork, roleplay...those are attractions that are quite addictive to a lot of core members in our circle along with films. The fetish film producers have also never really keyed into the female market, so I see a lot of my gal friends gravitating toward stories, art and RP instead of film. One aspect of this is we gals are less turned on by an "anonymous" woman in the film story...we want to insert ourselves into the action in some way during the course of the fantasy. This "intimate" approach to the feminine participants in the community had advanced by leaps and bounds in the other visual and storytelling mediums of our fetish, while films have lagged behind.

As a marketer in RL, I see the most successful companies identifying key areas to focus on to bring in new interest and revenue. It's known as "smart targeting". The two aspects noted above (fashion and female participation), are just two aspects of what could be a new sophistication in interacting with the desires of your potential audience. If you all could attract new viewers of your film work from the other areas of fetish fulfillment currently being advanced by writers, authors and roleplayers, you have the potential for some exciting growth.

I'm apt to get myself in trouble here because what I like to see has almost nothing in common with what has been set forth in the earlier posts. Oh, I'll watch a shoot-em-up if I can't come up with something in the swords-and-sandals vein - and usually I cannot. Olaf Winter fills the void for me nicely if only his Custom Customers would let him alone long enough to produce what I suspect are both his and my own First Love - that being the sparsely clad "Amazons". Wardrobe? Good Grief! Least is Best! When I see messages worrying a producer about what manner of boots the women should be wearing then I really begin to worry! And now that I've gone out on a limb to this extent, I shall proceed to saw it off by saying that I tend to view the death of any of the Amazon Warriors as a sort of small tragedy. Quite often I visualize (fantasize) the Amazon as being my own personal guardian (angel?) who is willing to lay down her life in my defense. And if that's not a Fantasy with a Capital F then I don't know what is!
What do you say, Blue? Let's put Petra to work!

Blue, I did a little adventuring around your superhero films and bought a couple. I am not really into the whole superhero, custom thing, but I must say I was very impress with the whole productions. The girl are amazing, and give some of the best efforts I have even scene. Would there be a way to work in some office women, business apparel outfits into the kills? Perhaps stories of the heroes defeated in there everyday, blend in outfits. Just a thought... :supes:

Actually, Mkkb, we have worked these in. A very hot blonde in business suit is shot to death in "Darkwing 10: Under Fire". There are also others, but that one doesn't involve superheroines in that specific kill. You can see the build up to that scene in the trailer.

Here's the trailer link, and the victim appears at the beginning then throughout the trailer:

My feelings on the state of the market now is mixed.
As for saturation I think it is a bit... most definitely!!!
However... the over all quality, subject matter, and women actors are sensational!!!
The visuals now are leaps & bounds better then stuff 10 years ago.
There is a lot of great great videos out there.
Since I like mostly shootings...
any shooting fan almost can not go wrong with these producers...
Bluestone
Amazons
Black Nylons
PKF
Chris Corner
Choke Chamber
And

Really the only place is with videos made by the producers who advertise on this site, and occasionally PST. I have also tried some producers with less production value that sell out of clips4sale, but that almost always is a waste of money- nothing is worse than an actress that looks bored in the video.

I'm a fan of F/F strangles though, so those videos here are few and far between. Good ones (to me) are even more rare - probably once a year. $ are tight, so I'm very choosy when I venture away from my core fetish (like to M/f strangles). I wish I could afford customs. The last series I really thought was great was Chris's Party Girl Appetite series. Some of Blues's past work had phenomenal f/f strangles, such as WA 1, 4 and 5, and Lynda's interrogation video, but those were all many years ago now. I'm not a superhero fan, and again because of the tight $, I am wary of videos with too many other fetish elements (shooting, stabbing) - I feel often times that means the part I'm interested in - the strangling - is short changed. Finally, certain actresses who always do solid work can get me interested in a video no matter what, like Lexi and India summer.

:frown: I have held off on answering this thread because I don't know how to do it without offending someone. I regret that and don't much mean to cast aspersions, except against all of the squirting semen that I find "disrespectful." This also might partially address why "attendance" seems to be down across the genre of dark fetish snoof/neekro. I pretty much only visit AnnabellesFantasy and Bluestone, I think because they are devoted to beauty and death with some dignity, the poignant drama of a more elegant demise by powerful and non-degraded women. There is no rape or neekro sex there, no sadism in the deaths and no abuse of the lovely corpses, no volumes of squirting semen on the OUTSIDE or the inside of their beautiful bodies, as if a killer would PULL OUT of the expired hallowed honey pot before coming!

I have no objection to porn, and I view lots of it. I love viewing Lovelies, alive and dead, beautiful in every case. I personally just want to keep porn and neekro-rape separate. I don't consume much snoof/neekro work because it is very difficult to find without rape and abuse and a basic disrespect of the beautiful women in the dramas. This is why I cling to my base in AnnabellesFantasy and Bluestone's....................elsullo :approve:

it's kind of hard to really say. only because i love women strangled in ballet flats. thats all i search for and or purchase so i go around from place to place looking for it since producers don't like to implement it much. i have bought a couple customs from debbie D anf sexy slyyy over the years were they were strangled in ballet flats but alot of producers charge so much for customs. i do wish more producers would implement ballet flats in their strangle scenes.

Although I'm on the completely opposite side of this, I'm not offended -- "Your kink is not my kink" as the saying goes. I love humiliation in "snoof" films (LOL), and splurting on her face as she dies is perhaps the ultimate. My beef is that all the sex seems to be "neecro" -- I want to hear the woman react, in pleasure or (preferably) pain.

As to "the market" -- it has considerably expanded. Members of FetNoir can go to the producers page and see dozens of producers -- not all update, but most of the top ones are active. Crime House and Black Stockings (I believe both are off-shoots of ChokeChamber) kill a lot of professionally attired women, but i believe both are mostly shootings.

For myself, I can only get occasional videos, so a film has to really "sing" to me to jump on my list. PsychoThrillers jumps to the top [splort! -- wonderfully disrespectful!!!], with JohnM's and Olaf's next in line. I was a big fan of UKSG (Amy Thorpe's Downfall was magnificent!!!) and I'm getting a couple of Blue's based on his recommendation. No sex, but awesome death scenes.

"No sex, but awesome death scenes." jhsnuff, we have that in abundance, but our stuff is clean so to speak, we're all about the sexiness in our heroines, their demises and quality of the production. All of our videos has these qualities.

I get my fix the same way I always have... Now there's just WAY more producers making videos than ever before, so if anything, I'm purchasing more videos now than ever before.

My tastes are particular however, I rarely ever see them in your superheroine videos, for example. So there's a reason why I don't buy most content. If I don't feel like the video is going to be worth compared to what I'm looking for, I'm just not going to buy it. Simple as that.

But there's so many video producers now, Nicheclips gets bigger every day I feel, I find videos I like on producers that never did such a video before, so yeah.. It's definitely somewhat saturated, but that's a good thing for me as a customer.

But I don't just get my fix from videos, there's also many very talented artists and writers, that I have also commissioned for customs and paid for artworks, etc.

Seriously, our community grows every year, you just have to know where you look, and make connections with people. I have particular tastes but I still find new stuff all the time.
